We arrived in Frankfurt ahead of schedule today and had a very quick and easy time through immigration/customs. Frederick Mueller met us at the airport and transported our luggage to Montabaur. We had a two hour wait at the train station but then had a very smooth ride on the high speed train. During the ride several of our players had an interesting discussion with a young German male. :-)
Several host families met us at the Montabaur train station and took us to the 1.FFC Montabaur clubhouse where we had a short presentation by Frederick on our itenerary and then we had a pizza lunch. These were very good pizzas that our hosts called family sized. To us they were just plain huge!
Everyone is currently enjoying some much needed rest with their host families.
