On Thursday we met with the Vice Burgermeister of Montabaur at the city hall.  He welcomed us and made a short presentation.  After socializing a bit at city hall, we went across the street and had a spaghetti lunch.  After lunch, we walked around the downtown area for some shopping and site seeing.  Then Alfred gave us a tour of the oldest part of the city and around the castle at the top of the hill.
